DELIVERING ESSENTIAL AID TO GAZA
IOM is utilizing its extensive logistics networks to transport essential aid into Gaza. Once there, this aid is distributed to those in need by UN, INGO and local NGO partners. The supplies are sourced through a variety of channels, including bilateral partnerships, inkind donations and IOM’s Common Pipeline mechanism, which is a resource available to other aid organizations. During the reporting period, 110,000 essential aid items were dispatched to or arrived in Gaza, while the dispatch of over 68,000 items was delayed due to access challenges.
