CORRIGENDUM TO THE SUMMARY RECORD OF THE

NINTH MEETING (PRIVATE)

Held at Kadimah Flats, Jerusalem, Wednesday,
18 June 1947 at 10:30 p.m.

Page 5 Line 5 should read: “action. He admired the ingenuity of the motion of Mr. Granados and thought…”

Page 7 Line 7 after “death sentence” read: “and proposed that the Chairman on behalf of the Committee request the High Commissioner to commute the sentences.”

Page 7 Paragraph 4 after “proposal” read: of  “Mr. Lisicky, but not the first part.”

Page 9 Paragraphs 7 and 8 should read: “It was the opinion of Mr. GARCIA GRANADOS (Guatemala) that his proposal took into account the urgency of the matter, and he requested that consideration of the legal competence of the Committee be postponed. Further discussion took place, during which Mr. RAND stated that he understood that he himself or any other delegate was at liberty to make, in a private capacity, any approach to the Palestine Government on behalf of the sentenced men. Mr. GARCIA GRANADOS then withdrew his proposal.”
