Dear Sir,

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Syria, I have the hollour to request you to permit me to participate without vote in the discussions of the Security Council in connection with the Report of the Acting Mediator on Palestine, which is in accordance with Article 31 of the Charter and of rules 37 and 38 of the provisional rules of procedure of the Security Council.
