Minister De Gucht condemns suicide attack in Netanya

Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht strongly condemned today's bloody suicide attack in Netanya, Israel.

"Targeted attacks on innocent victims for political ends should always be condemned. These terrorists want to create an atmosphere that will make it difficult or even impossible to resume the peace process. However, the peace process remains the only option for implementing the roadmap which should eventually allow two countries to co-exist peacefully."

Minister De Gucht expressed his condolences to the victims' relatives and to the Israeli government.
