Delegation for relations with the Palestinian Legislative Council

09:00 – 19:00 Jerusalem, Ramallah, Gaza

A nine-strong delegation of MEPs members of Parliament's delegation for relations with the Palestinian Legislative Council, led by its Chair, Proinsias De Rossa (Irish social democrat), will travel to the West Bank, Jerusalem and to the Gaza strip, from 6 to 10 December 2009.

The delegation will meet Salam Fayyad, Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority in Ramallah. MEPs will also meet MPs from the Palestinian Legislative Council, belonging to all political factions both in Ramallah and in Gaza.

A press conference is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 8 December 2009 at 17.45 in the Palestinian Media Center, Ramallah.
