King, British PM discuss Palestinian issue
Amman, 23/6/2007, (Communication & Information Division – Royal Hashemite Court) — His Majesty King Abdullah and British Prime Minister Tony Blair discussed the latest situation in the Middle East during a telephone conversation on Saturday, calling for more efforts from international community to support the Palestinians.
King Abdullah highlighted the need for the international community to intensify its efforts to support the Palestinians and return the Palestinian and Israeli sides to the negotiating table to resume the peace process.
For his part, Blair manifested his country's stands towards the various issues in the region, especially in the Palestinian territories.
