Shoukry Receives a Phone Call from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon
During his current visit to Tunisia, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received, on August 4 a telephone call from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, where they addressed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the efforts exerted to reach an agreement on a ceasefire and abiding by terms of the humanitarian truce.
Shoukry reaffirmed the importance of adhering to the Egyptian initiative as a basis for stopping the bloodshed of innocent Palestinian civilians and stopping the attacks against them.
