to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General
The Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and has the honour to forward a telex from the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs concerning the recent acts of aggression by the Israeli Air Force against Lebanon.
The Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations would be grateful if the enclosed telex could be circulated as an official document of the General Assembly, under item 35 of the preliminary list, and of the Security Council.

ANNEX
Telex from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon
concerning the recent acts of aggression by the
Israeli Air Force against Lebanon
The Lebanese Government wishes to inform the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Security Council about a number of acts of aggression recently carried out by Israel against Lebanon and about the following loss of human life and material damage which they caused:
1. On 6 July 1990, two Israeli Air Force squadrons launched an attack against Mount Lucy, situated near the village of Sultan Yacoub, south of the Bekaa plain, and against Mount Hayat, situated north of Tripoli, inflicting various wounds on eight persons.
2. On 7 July 1990, at 1300 hours, four Israeli military aircraft launched an attack against Iklim Al Touffah in southern Lebanon, killing two persons, wounding three others and destroying several houses.
3. In the morning of 10 July 1990, the Israeli Air Force launched a further attack against Loueize and Mlita, accompanied by heavy artillery fire directed against Berkat Jabbour, situated in the western Bekaa, and against the villages of Jba'a and Kfar Melki and Mount Jernaya. As a result of these attacks, two persons were killed and four others wounded.
