Further report on the status of the cease-fire in the Middle East
The Acting Chief of Staff of UNTSO has submitted the following special report on developments in the Israel-Lebanon sector on 2 December 1975.
1. OP Mar (AMR 1998-2921) 1/ and OP Khiam (AMR 2071-3025) reported an air attack by Israel forces jet aircraft between 0806 and O842 GMT on 2 December. Four aircraft attacked targets in the vicinity of Nabatiye (AMR 1958-3090) in l4 strikes.
2. A complaint was received from the Lebanese authorities alleging that between 0800 and 0920 GMT on 2 December Israel forces jet aircraft attacked several targets within Lebanese territory in the vicinity of Nabatiye and Tripoli, causing both Lebanese and Palestinian civilian casualties and material damage.
3. Based on the reports from OPS Mar and Khiam the complaint is confirmed in respect of the attack on targets in the vicinity of Nabatiye, except for casualties and damage.
