I have the honour, in my capacity as Chairman of the Ninth Islamic Summit Conference, and in compliance with the Final Communiqué of the Summit at which a Ministerial Committee was formed, to request Your Excellency to convene an urgent meeting, in connection with the item entitled “The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian Question”, between the Security Council and the Ministerial Committee, whose members are as follows, on Monday, 27 November 2000:
