1995/278.  Human rights situation in southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa

At its 52nd plenary meeting, on 25 July 1995, the Economic and Social Council, taking note of Commission on Human Rights resolution 1995/67 of 7 March 1995, 1/ approved the Commission's request to the Secretary-General to bring the resolution to the attention of the Government of Israel and to invite it to provide information concerning the extent of its implementation thereof, and to report to the General Assembly at its fiftieth session and to the Commission on Human Rights at its fifty-second session on the results of his efforts in this regard.
