In my capacity as the Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of November 2006, and on behalf of the States members of the League of Arab States, I have the honour to request an urgent meeting of the Security Council to consider Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem.
