International Maritime Organization
1. The Council of the International Maritime Organization (no), at its forty-first session, decided, on 27 October 1978, that the national liberation movements recognized, inter alia, by the League of Arab States should be invited as observers to IMO meetings and conferences.
2. In order to implement this decision, the EKG Assembly, at its eleventh session, amended its rules of procedure on 6 November 1979. Observers from the Palestine
Liberation Organization have attended IHO meetings and conferences since that date.
