Situation in the OPT/SecCo meeting – Letter from Tunisia

LETTER DATED 8 FEBRUARY 1989 FROM THE PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF TUNISIA TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL

In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of February 1989, acting on instructions from the members of that Group, and referring to the letter dated 7 February 1989 from the Permanent Observer of Palestine, reproduced in document A/44/117-S/20451, I have the honour to request an immediate meeting of the Security Council in order to consider the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory.
