LETTER DATED 10 APRIL 1996 FROM THE PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE
OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED
TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL
With reference to the letters dated 2 April 1996 (A/50/916-S/1996/233) and 3 April 1996 (A/50/915-S/1996/235), in my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for this month and on behalf of its members, I have the honour to request the Security Council to meet in an urgent formal session in order to consider the serious situation in the occupied Palestinian Territory, including Jerusalem.
