The meeting was called to order at 10.10 a.m.

8.   Ms. Rasheed (Observer for Palestine) said it was disappointing that the Special Representative’s report had not provided more details on the sufferings of the Palestinian children living under foreign occupation. Her delegation had repeatedly called upon the Office of the Special Representative to visit the Occupied Palestinian Territory and witness first-hand the systematic human rights violations committed by Israel. It would therefore like the Special Representative to indicated how she planned to address the situation.
