On 4-5 May, the Bureau delegation led by the Chair attended the OIC Summit of Heads of States in Banjul where the question of Palestine featured prominently and a resolution on Palestine was adopted. The delegation met with H.E Mr. Basirou Diomaye and H.E. Mr. Yacine Fall, respectively President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal, who reiterated Senegal’s unwavering support for Palestine. The delegation also met with the Leonardo Simão, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of UNOWAS.
