The Working Group of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of Palestinian People is organizing a briefing on Wednesday, 27 April, at 10:00 a.m. in the ECOSOC Chamber, at the UN Headquarters in New York, on the situation of Palestinian child detainees. It will be followed by a Q&A session.
The invited speakers are Ms. Sahar Francis, Director of Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association and Mr. Khaled Quzmar, General Director of Defence for Children International – Palestine. The event will be moderated by Ms. Sarah Leah Whitson, Executive Director of Human Rights Watch’s Middle East and North Africa Division.
