Air violations of the Blue Line continue:

PRSG calls on Israeli authorities to halt overflights

Beirut, 13 November 2001 (UN Information Centre) – The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, has noted with concern that a further three overlights, consisting of five Israeli military aircraft, took place cross the Blue Line and into Lebanese airspace on 12 November.

The PRSG reiterates, once again, his call upon the Israeli authorities to halt such violations of Lebanese airspace and to fully respect the Blue Line.
