Relief sent to beleaguered Palestinian refugee camp

Beirut – The management of UAE-Lebanese Project for the Reconstruction of Lebanon has dispatched its second relief convey to the beleaguered Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr Al Barid. The convey, consisting of ten trucks loaded with various relief supplies, is the second to be sent to the camp on the orders of the UAE President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Over 650 Palestinian families who fled the camp and settled in nearby areas are benefiting from the relief supplies. A mobile clinic to attend to the wounded victims is also accompanying the convoy. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
