On Tuesday 31 January 2024 at 10 a.m., the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People held its 415th Committee Meeting in Conference Room 12 at UNHQ in New York. At this meeting, the Secretary General presided over the election of the Chair and the Committee approved its 2024 Programme of Work. The Permanent Representative of South Africa to the United Nations and the Director of the UNRWA Representative Office in New York (RONY) briefed the Committee on current developments.
