Researchers and scholars and other users of the Yearbook of the United Nations will be glad to know that the 2014 Pre-press is now featuring first proofs of chapters as they become available, replacing the detailed and hyperlinked chapter outlines for their respective topics. The initial Pre-press material available includes Political and security questions Chapter VIII: Other political and security questions, and Economic and social questions Chapter IV: International trade, finance and transport and Chapter XII: Refugees and displaced persons, as well as Legal questions Chapter I: International Court of Justice, this in addition to Appendices 1, 2, and 3 containing the Roster of the United Nations, the Structure of the United Nations and the Agenda of the United Nations principal organs in 2014, along with the Report of the Secretary-General on the work of the Organization in that year. Yearbook Pre-press chapters feature edited, copy-edited and typeset material, but will undergo further editing, proofreading and layout before final publication.
