Air violation of the Blue Line/PRSG reiterates call for cessation of overflights

Beirut, 31 October 2001 (UN Information Centre) – The Blue Line, and Lebanese airspace, was violated on 30 October by an Israeli military jet.

In this connection, the Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, again calls upon the Israeli authorities to cease such air violations and fully respect the Blue Line.
