Air violation of the Blue-Line:

PRSG reiterates call for halt to overflights

Beirut, 24 December 2001 (UN Information Centre) – Two air violations, involving one Israeli jet and one drone, took place across the Blue Line and into Lebanese airspace yesterday.

The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, calls upon the Israeli authorities to cease such air violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.
