Air violation of the Blue Line:

PRSG reiterates calls for halt to overflights

Beirut, 16 Novamber 2001 (UN Information Centre) – The Blue Line and Lebanese airspace was violated on 15 November by one Tsrwh military jet.

It should be recalled that even one, air violation is a negative development and cannot be ignored.

In this connection, the Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, again calls upon the Israeli authorities to cease such air violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.
