Memorandum addressed by

the Secretary of the Committee on Jerusalem

to the Secretary of the General Committee

concerning Control of Wakf Property*

1. With reference to the memorandum dated 7 July 1949 requesting information from the Committee on Jerusalem on the question of the control of religious properties, the Committee on Jerusalem decided at its 45th meeting on 6 August to transmit to the General Committee the enclosed working paper (document Com.Jer/W.28). The attention of the General Committee is drawn in particular to paragraphs 5 to 19 of this document.

2. Any further relevant information on the subject that is brought to the attention of the Committee on Jerusalem will be transmitted to the General Committee.
