Statement on recent arrests of Palestinian lawmakers

Last updated: 17/02/2012 // Norway joins EU's concern over the arrest of the Palestinian lawmaker Muhammad Totah and former Minister for Jerusalem, Khaled Abu Arafeh. They were arrested by Israeli authorities within the International Red Crescent premises in East-Jerusalem on 23 January this year, where they had sought refuge after having their East-Jerusalem permit suspended by Israeli authorities.
