Of note this week
Inter-factional fighting in the form of armed clashes and abductions occurred again this week in the Gaza Strip with one Palestinian killed and 22 injured. The main junctions in Gaza City were closed for three days as a result and UNRWA operations in Beit Hanoun were also affected. An international BBC journalist was kidnapped by unidentified men and his whereabouts remains unknown.
