Lebanon
UNRWA has inaugurated new housing near the Nahr el bared Camp in North Lebanon, which was largely destroyed during the fighting between the Lebanese army and militant groups inside the camp last year.
UNRWA has built 574 temporary shelters in the adjacent area to Nahr el bared, housing over 2,000 people. About 27,000 people were displaced from Nahr el bared during the fighting.
