Gaza Strip : Abducted ICRC delegate released

Geneva (ICRC) – A delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) who was abducted at the organization's office in Khan Younis earlier today was released without conditions this evening.

Julien Grosclaude, a Swiss national, is in good health. The ICRC is relieved to learn of his safe release and reminds all concerned that the abduction of humanitarian workers is strictly prohibited. The organization calls for the release of all civilians abducted in the Gaza Strip.

The ICRC is committed to pursuing its activities in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.
