U.N. WORKING ON IMPLEMENTATION OF DEAL ON CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS ENTERING GAZA
- In response to questions about the status of the agreement to bring construction materials into Gaza, the Spokesman said that the Office of UN Special Coordinator Robert Serry says that the mechanism to deal with construction material in Gaza has not yet been implemented, but that his office is working with the parties on a quick implementation.
- On how many people are still sheltering in UN facilities in Gaza, the Spokesman said that number is 54,646 in 18 buildings belonging to the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
