In my capacity as Chairman of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement, I have the honour to refer to the letter to you dated 3 May 2002 (A/ES-10/170) from the Chair of the Arab Group for the month of May 2002, the Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Permanent Mission of the Sudan to the United Nations. I have the further honour to convey to you the support of the Non-Aligned Movement for the request of the Arab Group to resume the meeting of the tenth emergency special session of the General Assembly to consider the agenda item entitled “Illegal Israeli actions in Occupied East Jerusalem and the rest of the Occupied Palestinian Territory”.
