A call for the int. community to stop Israeli aggression in Gaza – NGO statement (Khiam Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture)

Stop Israeli aggression

Khiam Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture consider what is happening in the Gaza as a war crimes against humanity, and with the high number of civilian victims, where the women and children and the elderly are the majority, and the way that leaves no doubt as to the behaviour intentional by the occupation State to the rhythm of the largest possible number of casualties among civilians as part of a collective punishment in flagrant violation and the Organization of international law, and emphasizes that what is practiced by the occupation state of grave violations against the Palestinian people it is only the crimes against humanity as a whole, these violations that led to the killing and wounding of more than 3350 civilians and the death of 570 since the start of the Israeli aggression on the eighth of July, and the destruction of a number of hospitals and the targeting of medical personnel and ambulances and the destruction of a large number of houses and public buildings, except the displacement of thousands through its indiscriminate bombing of villages and camps of the Gaza since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, waging the Israeli army attacks air, land and marine living in the sector commits the crime of genocide against the unarmed civilians and violation of the international humanitarian law and all agreements and international conventions, in light of the continued silence of the Arab and international, and the international community's failure to prosecute and to hold accountable the perpetrators of these crimes.

In this context, the Center emphasizes the need for the international community to compel the State of Israeli occupation to comply and immediately commitment to list under human rights law, and international humanitarian law, and calls on the UN and the European Union and the competent authorities, the need to set up committees to investigate the facts of what is happening in the Gaza of massive and flagrant violations of Palestinian human rights and the investigation of the massacres committed against innocent people and isolate also subject to strikes on their homes to end their lives and the lives of their children, without the slightest respect for the human right to life and security of person and property.

It also reflects the Centre's deep concern about the conditions experienced by the residents of the sector and in particular children and the state of horror, scenes of bloody, and their repercussions psychological, social and behavioural that lives under the non-availability of security which is one of the basic needs of the human and calls on all rehabilitation centers and anti-violence, torture and all humanitarian organizations to a broader campaign solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and to send medical missions and medicine to help the victims of the war of aggression.
