Letter dated 24 February 1988 from the Chairman of the Committee on

the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People

addressed to the President of the General Assembly

On behalf of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, I would like to express our strong support for the request made by the Arab Group and the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries and supported by the organization of the Islamic Conference (documents A/42/919, A/42/921 and A/42/922) to resume the forty-second session of the General Assembly to continue consideration of agenda item 136, entitled "Report of the Committee on Relations with the Host Country", at a date no later than 29 February 1988.

I should appreciate it if the text of the present letter could be circulated as an official document of the forty-second session of the General Assembly under agenda item 136.
