Letter dated 29 June 2006 from the Permanent Representative of Algeria to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council
In my capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of June 2006, and on behalf of the States members of the League of Arab States, I have the honour to request an immediate meeting of the Security Council to consider the practices of Israel, the occupying Power, affecting Palestinian civilians in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.
