Question of Palestine
Letter dated 5 February 2020 from the Chair of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People addressed to the President of the General Assembly
I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of the letter transmitted by you from the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations, dated 26 December 2019, in which he informed you of the decision of the Government of Ukraine to cease its membership in the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People as from 1 January 2020 (A/74/671, annex).
At the 399th meeting of the Committee, on 4 February 2020, the issue was brought to the attention of the Committee members, who took note of the information. I should like to suggest that the General Assembly be informed, at a suitable time, about the aforementioned change in the membership of the Committee.
I should be grateful if you would have the present letter circulated as a document of the General Assembly, under agenda item 35.
