The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Bujar Nishani, President of the Republic of Albania.

The Secretary-General thanked Albania for its support in safely relocating the majority of the residents of Camp Hurriya. The Secretary-General congratulated Albania on its recent approval of justice reforms and its progress towards EU accession. The Secretary-General offered the United Nations’ continued support for Albania’s implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
