
Dijana Delaye is a Senior Adviser for Sustainable Development in the Office of the President of the 77th session of the General Assembly.
Ms. Delaye is a diplomat seconded by the Government of the Republic of Croatia. She served as the Minister Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Croatia to the UN since 2017.
During her 20 years of service in the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Integration, her portfolio covered a wide range of topics, including European integration, public relations, development, environmental issues, climate, water, energy, health, food, youth, education, financing for development, digital transformation, and humanitarian issues.
Ms. Delaye has a Master’s degree in English and German from the University of Zagreb (2002), a Master’s in International Relations and Management from the University of Amsterdam (2004), and a PHD in Political Science (Transitional justice) (2020).
