Around the world, everyday…
Nations and cultures, all around.
So abundant, each one so rare.
Amid it all, is the oneness, the kindness,
Expected of humanity, that we so prominently share.
Approaching with an open mind,
Alongside this common generosity,
We listen, learn, and appreciate our unique subtleties,
Through stories and music that then satisfy our innate curiosity.
These are just some of my reflections on enjoying my time working in a highly multicultural environment at the OPGA. Also, having observed how much multilingualism is valued here, I am motivated to learn and enrich my linguistic capabilities as much as I can in the future.
