ESS
The 11th Emergency Special Session resumed this morning.
President Csaba Kőrösi was in the Hall.
Now it is Ambassador Amrit Bahadur Rai, the Permanent Representative of Nepal, and one of the GA Vice-Presidents.
There are currently 22 speakers left before action is expected on the draft resolution.
We expect action to start during the 3pm session.
There will be a press stakeout set up this afternoon. Thanks to our BCSS, UNTV and MALU colleagues.
BILATERALS
In terms of bilaterals today, President Csaba Kőrösi is meeting with Ambassador Ana Paula Zacarias, the Permanent Representative of Portugal to the United Nations.
President Kőrösi will also meet with Ms. Catarina De Albuquerque. Who is the CEO of Sanitation and Water for All, a global partnership hosted at UNICEF.
They will discuss the 2023 UN Water Conference.
THURSDAY
Looking to tomorrow, President Kőrösi will address the Third Committee – which is the Human Rights Committee.
He will also speak to the Sixth Committee – which is the primary forum for the consideration of legal questions in the General Assembly.
QUESTIONS
