Readout of the President of the General Assembly’s meeting with the Prime Minister of Portugal

The President of the General Assembly H.E. Mr. Csaba Kőrösi met today with H.E. Mr. António Costa, Prime Minister of Portugal.

The President congratulated the Prime Minister on Portugal’s successful hosting of the 2022 United Nations Oceans Conference. The President and the Prime Minister then discussed the links between water management and climate change. They also discussed United Nations’ responses to the war in Ukraine.
