Global Bioethics Initiative (GBI) and Pace University College of Health Professors invite students and professionals worldwide to attend their International Bioethics Summer School in NYC from 19 June – 30 June 2017. The program will include a series of lectures and seminars by notable faculty, field trips, film screenings, evening events with guest speakers open to the public and a mini conference prior to the graduation ceremony. Last year, participants were able to attend the One World Observatory, the American Museum of Natural History, and tour the United Nations.
In order to make the summer school program truly global, GBI is offering several partial scholarships to students. To apply for a partial scholarship, please include a 300-500-word statement with the rest of your application materials describing how you would benefit from it. Scholarship winners will be notified two days after applying. For more details and to apply click here.
Participants do not need to have an educational background in bioethics, but they should be able to demonstrate an interest in the issues described in the program. For more information, contact Ana Lita at alita@globalethics.org.
