Beirut, 06 November 2001 (UN Information Centre) – The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for Southern Lebanon, Mr. Staffan de Mistura, has noted with concern that there was another violation of the Blue Line and Lebanese airspace on 05 November by two Israeli military jets.
These jets also released 13 decoy flares inside Lebanese airspace.
In this regard, the PRSG reiterates his call on the Israeli authorities to cease such actions and to fully respect the Blue Line.
