The following communication, concerning an agreement regarding Postal Services entered into between the Palestine Commission and the Haifa Chamber of Shipping, has been received from Mr. Fletcher-Cooke of the United Kingdom Delegation.

My dear Bunche:
May I refer yon to my letter of the 9th May in which I conveyed to you the views of His Majesty’s Government regarding the proposed agreement concerning Postal Services in Palestine which has been entered into between the Palestine Commission and Haifa Chamber of Shipping.
2. I have now received information that the Government of Palestine has no objection to the proposed arrangements being brought into force before 15th May 1948.
3. I am sending a copy of this letter to Mr. Finn Moe, rapporteur of the Sub Committee of the 1st Committee of the General Assembly.
