The Secretary-General met today with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia, H.E. Mr. Khemais Jhinaoui.

The Secretary-General reiterated the commitment of the United Nations to support the Tunisian people in their efforts to preserve the gains realized during the revolution. The Secretary-General and the Minister also discussed the situation in Libya, underlining the importance of unifying existing political initiatives under the stewardship of the United Nations.

Le Secrétaire général a rencontré aujourd’hui le Ministre des Affaires étrangères de la Tunisie, S.E. M. Khemais Jhinaoui.

Le Secrétaire général a réitéré l’engagement des Nations unies à accompagner le peuple tunisien dans ses efforts pour préserver les acquis de la révolution. Le Secrétaire général et le Ministre ont aussi discuté la situation en Libye et souligné l’importance d’unifier les différentes initiatives politiques sous l’égide des Nations unies.
