Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia. The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for Mongolia’s contribution to peacekeeping, as well as its commitment to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. 

The Secretary-General commended Mongolia for its regional dialogue initiative, the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asia Security, which has contributed to trust-building efforts in the region.
