Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Faiez Mustafa Serraj, Prime Minister and President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord of Libya

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Faiez Mustafa Serraj, Prime Minister and President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord of Libya, commending him for his leadership, and for promoting national ownership of the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA). 　

The Secretary-General expressed his full support to the Presidency Council and the Government of National Accord. He also expressed serious concern about the increasing divisions within Libya and encouraged H.E. Mr. Serraj to continue working with all stakeholders in order to broaden the support base of the LPA.
