Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Andrej Kiska, President of the Slovak Republic

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Andrej Kiska, President of the Slovak Republic. The Secretary-General expressed confidence in Slovakia's continued leadership in the areas of large movements of refugees and migrants, sustainable development and humanitarian assistance. The Secretary-General also stressed the importance of expediting progress towards the entry into force of the Paris climate change agreement.
