On 9th November, the President of the seventy-fifth session of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Volkan Bozkir, held an in-person meeting with H.E. Inga Rhonda King, Permanent Representative of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the UN and the President of the Security Council for the month of November.

Ambassador King briefed the President on the main activities to be undertaken during her presidency of the Council.  The two Presidents discussed the upcoming election of judges to the International Court of Justice, as well as the peacebuilding architecture review, both of which entail the cooperation and coordination of the UN Security Council and UN General Assembly.

While thanking Ambassador King for her visit, H.E. Volkan Bozkir commended the rich programme of work of the Security Council for the month of November and looked forward to working constructively with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines throughout her presidency and, indeed, throughout the seventy- fifth session of the General Assembly.
