EARTH University is a global institution that offers a rigorous four-year undergraduate program in Agricultural Sciences, led by an international faculty that provides an education with solid scientific and technical foundations, with an emphasis on ethical values, entrepreneurship, and environmental and social commitment.

EARTH was established by Costa Rican law in 1986 as a private, non-profit, international university and created with the support of the Costa Rican government, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. It was created so that young people from developing regions can become ethical leaders and agents of social and environmental change. The University seeks students with high potential to transform the world.

UNAI SDG Hub 2 Vice-Chair for Teaching and Education: Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is deeply committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger. Through its academic programs, the university integrates food security and sustainable agriculture themes into teaching and research. KNUST actively engages students in community outreach projects that address hunger and malnutrition, while fostering innovation in agricultural practices. At Newcastle University, we use the SDGs to support us in realising our vision and measuring our success.  We have ongoing projects relating directly to every one of the 17 SDGs. Our core values of social and environmental justice closely match the SDGs on gender equality, reduced inequalities, and environmental justice. Through our activity we contribute to all of the goals - around food and hunger, health and wellbeing, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, governance and peace, and beyond.
